On the world of Soile, aided by advanced AI, a global military-industrial complex dominated by sociopaths took over in a time of great crisis. They acted not out of good intentions, but as the world had run out of profitable wars to fight. So too had ended the effortless enrichment of secret military budgets hidden from any real accountability.
For six decades, Soile has since been ruled by a single creed: Possession is Ownership. With it, the Principles of Possession, crafted to ensure a world where all aspects of life are militarised, with no regard for safety or personal freedom. All solely to profit the military-industrial Overlords.
Carif and Zeren have longed to destroy their world in its current form. Both have dark pasts they don't fully acknowledge to themselves.
Yet now, as fate would have it, they are forced on a journey of self-discovery or self-destruction.
They are joined by a Syna, a stranded invader willing to cooperate: for in her species, all females are immortal and their self-preservation is the highest priority.
They are also joined by Vier, a mysterious boy intimately connected to the AI Overlords.
The fate of the world is in the hands of those who aren't sure which side should win...or what deserved to be left.
